Intro

Responding to a brief from Mighty Giant, this project involved creating a brand identity and motion graphics campaign for Splendore Air, a fictional airline launching a new route from East Midlands Airport to the Belluno region. The brief demanded a 10-20 second promotional video formatted for social media, requiring prominent branding, recognizable cityscapes, and a clear motion rationale targeted at weekend holidaymakers. To position Splendore Air as a premium yet accessible carrier offering high-quality flights at lower costs, the visual direction was heavily inspired by Massimo Vignelli's modernist grid systems and the warm 'Enrosadira' alpenglow of the Dolomite mountains. Finally, the video brings this identity to life through a tranquil, feather-inspired motion language that is rhythmically timed to the 16 chimes of Nottingham’s iconic Council House bell.
